There is an Elmore DNA project .  Elmore DNA has been submitted, (to view click here). Male descendants of the Elmore's please consider!  It could help us link our Elmore families!

For additional information on this genealogy tool, please look at the below website:
Family Tree DNA

This has been tested by Elmore descendants with different surnames and has worked for their surname!  However, for our Elmore genealogy, we need DNA from male descendants with the Elmore surname.

Please consider it!

Genevieve Chapman Broome Jones wrote a "book" about her genealogical research for her ancestors.  She self published it in mid-1970s.  It featured many families, including an Elmore family.  The Elmore section has been scanned into a pdf file. Her book was entitled, Children Meet Your Ancestors.

They are descendant through Deborah's children and working on genealogy to further our Elmore research.  I appreciate their willingness to share their efforts on this website!

The test is painless, just 2 swabbings of your cheek, far less expensive than one would image for DNA testing of any sort.  Family Tree DNA has a solid reputation, with surname projects. Their security & privacy are a priority.  Please visit their site and check it out thoroughly.
They will have the answer to any question you may have.   Click here to see what the DNA kit looks like!
